First Responder

The First Responder Program is taught to Department of Transportation standards. This class is a must for anybody wishing to be able to do more than just basic first aid. The training is designed to train the first people at the scene in victim care. Upon completion responders will be able to provide more care for traumatic injuries than they would be able to in just basic first aid. The class is a must for any industry with a First Responder Program and should be considered if ambulance arrival time is more than 10 minutes.

Following the training participants will be given a written and a practical skills test. This is a 40 hour class and refreshers are required every two years (20 hours).
